AMSOIL PSAF Update

I tried to get a picture of the CAN-AM, but after grabbing a couple scenic shots, the camera overheated and shut down.

A few months back we posted about swapping the factory coolant in a 2019 CAN-AM Defender Lone Star to AMSOIL's latest coolant, the PSAF Powersports Coolant. A few weeks ago, we finally had a chance to hit some back country trails in Southern NM in about 95+ degree temps (anyone else think the temps this time of year are abnormally low?). First un-scientific impression was that while moving, the coolant temp hovered about 2-3 bars, and while sitting, it would fluctuate between 3-4 bars on the coolant temperature gauge, while occasionally creeping up to 4-5 bars and come back down shortly after the fan kicks on. I seem to recall the factory coolant maintaining about 4-5 bars. Is that a problem? Nope! These engines are designed to run hot, but if you can help it run cooler, then it only increases the life of the engine.

Is this any better than the factory stuff? I think so! When you factor in the cost direct from your Powersports Dealer, the retail price is definitely lower, which increases the overall benefits.
